I am new to TFP. I was just told about TFP and pool math, and I have put in my numbers on the app. My CYA is extremely high way over 100 and I have annoying algae still in my pool. What should I do first? Drain some water out of the pool or start the SLAM process? And how much water to drain if I do have to do that first?

OK -- above ground pool. You should be able to safely drain down to half full depending on what type of above ground pool you have. Check your manual.
Once you have done that and refilled, run a full set of tests again. Add 5 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine when you start to refill the pool.
