Hello! I have been on here prior and decided to start off our pool year from scratch. I have my test kit I use (suggested from here) but my question is how do you start up for the year? I have my bleach borax, baking soda sand muratic acid. But do you put a stabilizer in and algaecide? Or do I just dump in my bleach and test from there? I’m super overwhelmed with a ton of info I just read so I need a little help and support ❤️
 
Test the pH and TA of your water.
Is this a fresh fill? Below is assuming so.
Add 3 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine. Start dissolving 40 ppm CYA worth of stabilizer. Maintain FC daily using the FC/CYA Levels for 40 ppm CYA.
Adjust pH to be in the 7's.

Not a fresh fill, we took the cover off and added water and just started the pump
