Is anyone familiar with Jandy Valve JVA 2444? There is one installed on my Helio Matic Solar Panel heater. The control panel has a thermostat to activate/deactivate heater. My question, should the handle on the Jandy Valve move as the thermostat changes? Mine does not, is it broke?

The Jandy JVA should turn when your solar controller sees the temperature at your solar panels is greater than the water temperature and your water needs heat.
If you turn up the thermostat and there is not sufficient heat at the solar panels it will not do anything.
If you turn up the thermostat and there is not sufficient heat at the solar panels it will not do anything.
