I have a Jandy AquaPure system with a PURE1400 cell.
I get failure codes 175 and 182.
Of course the Service light is on.
The screen says Flow, but the flow light is not on.
When I press the Salinity button, it shows --.
When I press the Pool Temp it bounces around from 36 to 42 F. Not sure what the actual water temp is but guessing around 80.
The sensor has 2 buttons. The temperature probe is in the pipe between the pump and the filter.

I did the board test:
Salinity + R-Temp + C, I got 3.2 when it says it should be 2.8.
Salinity + R-Temp + D, I got 74 F
H-Temp + C + A, I got 91 F
Does that mean the board is O.K?
How do you bring it back to the default settings if it was calibrated?

I traced the flat cable from the Sensor to the Power Center and found a crack in the insulation, so I will replace the sensor.

Just curious if the board is O.K. and about the 2-button sensor with the separate temp probe.

Thank you,

Your board sounds fine.

Fix your pool water temperature sensor and get a good reading.

So, I need to replace the temperature probe as well as the sensor?
In the Jandy AquaPure SWG - Further Reading I found on this site, it says there is a Jandy tri-sensor which measures water flow, salinity, and water temperature. Is that for a newer system than mine?

Your system has two temperature sensors. One at the Aqualink water sensor in the pipe and one for the Aquapure in the tri-sensor.

Show me which display the temperature is bouncing around.

What does Aqualink say the water temperature is?

Old and new sensors both have the tri-sensor. Just different designs.
