Can anyone tell me if the Jandy pump model vsphp270dv2a is a good pump? We had our pool constructed last year and before the end of the season the pump had blown? This year the warranty company replaced both pumps with pumps that are different from the original pumps. My goal is to ensure that the new pumps are decent and at least on the same level as the pumps that were replaced.

The Jandy vsphp270dv2a is a decent pump, but whether its the RIGHT one for your setup, we don't have enough information to answer that.

Any chance you can look on the build paperwork to determine what the original pump was or call the builder and ask?
The pumps stopped working. They were making a very loud noise and were replaced.
