I definitely don't recommend the system. Mine worked great for the first summer as it was very dry. I turned it off the second season because we had record rains. Now third summer it allows water to pass through even when off. I overfilled my pool several times until I figured out what was happening. Steer clear of this auto filling system. PB recommended the system over pentair which all our other equipment is as he said the pentair autofill was junk at least it would have been covered by a 3-year warranty......

Have you followed the flow chart?

Yes I did there's something wrong with the solenoid valve. It really barely got used 75% of the time I always had the circuit turned off we never should have bought a pool filler I just wanted to put this out more of a PSA. I'll probably just replace the solenoid valve with a ball valve and I can manually turn on and off to fill the pool. We average 2.5-3 in of rain a month so really no need to have an auto pool filler. My better half just didn't like the look of a hose filling the pool. All it would do was fill the pool on the hot dry days then when it did rain I'd have to drain the pool.

No need for an autofill in the Northeast where we have periodic rain.

I always look at the weather forecast before adding water to my pool.

100% agree. The one nice thing though we did have a new 1-in pipe run close to the pool so we get great flow to fill it up. Probably would not have not done that unless we got the autofill. Although when pool is filling we only get a trickle of water on the second floor......
