Ok, so my pool builder installed the wrong LED lights in my pool. The ones I wanted changed about 20 different colors. The ones I got only change 7..
My current ones are 12watt leds. Since he has to change them out I inquired about upgrading to the 24 watt leds.

Are there any negatives with going with brighter leds?

Right now I have 3 in my pool. Deep end, shallow end and one on the shelf.

Brighter can be good as not worries about seeing anyone or thing in the pool. Brighter could be bad as you can see EVERY thing LOL I like just a soft glow instead of bright daylight for night swimming.

I am installing a single Jandy 24w hydrocool color led right now. We did a replacement from a burnt out fiber installation. I only have one light so I went with the 24w. I can post pics for you as soon as they finish my resurfacing to give you an idea of how bright it is.
