I went through all the troubleshooting steps on the guide for this heater, (after replacing a burnt PDB, replaced transformer just in case as well). Getting an air flow fault, and all 11 steps on the guide check ok, except the last step 12 is where I'm stumped.
Step 12, is blower on (NO), check voltage on F2 (NONE) = correct incoming power problem.
Incoming power is setup exactly the way it was before, 240v, I mean, not easy to mess up as everything is connector proof except the 2 incoming power wires. Coming into the board they check ok, F1 shows 120v, as it should since thats tied to the incoming power, but no power coming out of the fan/blower leg of the PDB. All things point to the F1/F2 not closing in the Fenwal, so the Q is why since the troubleshooting guide doesn't really explore this route?
The new PDB has the voltage chip in the right way. 240v against the PDB as it was before. Problem is somewhere in this PDB, almost like it is bad/new. Sound about right? old and new PDB p/n's are identical, and everything look identical. Should I cut the tie strap, reinsert a couple times? Jumping F1 and F2 does start the blower motor. Maybe its just the Fenwal needs replacement?
