I’ve got a JXi gas heater that won’t turn on. On the IAquaLink it appears as though it starts and is running, however doesnt start up at the equipment. The pool water temp on IAquaLink shows 71 degrees and that is accurate. On the Jandy JXi display it shows the water temp is 108 degrees. (Def not accurate). It’s showing the 108 degrees for both pool or spa mode. I’m assuming there is a separate temp sensor in the heater. I’m assuming that since the heater thinks the water temp is above the set point that the thermostat is not calling for heat and thats why it won’t fire up?
Any suggestions? Id like to try to diagnose and repair anything simple before calling a technician once I feel out of my league.
Thank you. IMG_3858.jpegIMG_3857.jpeg

Additional info: I just tried to reset everything by shutting the power off to the whole system (just like the IT guys telling you to remove the battery from your laptop when it doesnt work. 😂). Waited about 30 seconds and turned everything back on. This time the JXi display said the water temp was 103 so I tried to fire up the spa. It did start the blower but only for a few seconds when it showed the water temp rose to 105…106. Which shut off the blower. It only turned on the blower for about 1.5 seconds until is shut off. Never got to light off point. Does that reinforce my theory that it may be the temp sensor in the heater? Thanks again.
