Hi & in June of this Summer I upgraded from an old Hayward perflex filter, 25 yr old fixed speed motor with mechanical timer to a new Jandy DEV60 filter/mpv, Jandy VSFloPro 1.85 HP variable speed pump & JEP-R controller. I was rebuilding my 20+ year old perflex filter annually - ugh and love the new pool filter/pump gear, installer did a great job, water is super clear, pics below - BUT I have to manually turn on & off pump every day by pressing button # 4. I have read the JEP-R manual multiple times and cannot get it right. I have set the clock time correctly.
Can anyone help me with the programming steps required to schedule filter run time? I believe it is on page 17 of the JEP-R manual rev J, under run duration. But I can not do it correctly.
Currently I am using 3010 rpm for 12 hours per day. I manually depress button # 4 to turn on & then again to turn on, 10am & 10pm. HELP..
Another basic question is 3010rpm for 12 hours a day correct or the wrong speed or wrong duration? Water is clear, but perhaps I can reduce rpm or duration?
I leave for a vacation and need to figure it out. I have watched some videos but sill cant correctly press the correct sequence of buttons. I have emailed Jandy support & waiting.
Thanks,
JC
