Will this kit fix a leak at the heat exchanger connection that leads to the drain plug. Leaking heavily at that connection. Between tubing and connector. Is that a push to connect fitting? Can I just cap it. Any help would be appreciated . Jandy Heat Pump Model AE-Ti.

Not a lot of DIY on Jandy equipment as they restrict sales of replacement parts to the public. But lets call in @JamesW to see if he has some background on your issue.
Thanks Mknauss. Given my location a drain plug isn't even necessary (South Florida). If I could get a plug that fits, that would work. Also, would I gain access from front panel. How tough a tare down is it?
