Greetings all,
I've recently installed a Jandy Aqualink RS automation system. My electrician did the high voltage connection, I preferred to leave this one to the pros. All is working well with the exception of one, maybe two depending on the feedback I get from the wisdom of the Forum. In addition to the Aqualink RS I have the iAqualink 2.0 to control it via my phone/computer. My Pump works like a charm, light works like a charm, deck jet actuator works like a charm however (this is one item I'm struggling with), I see a percentage option but regardless of the percentage, the actuator is either on/off to where I set the cams. My SWG is fully isolated from the automation so no issues there. Finally my heater, Jandy 260p JXI. I had an after market versa flo bypass module added to my heater and has worked like a charm since. However once I've installed the automation, the heater throws one of two errors, one is "Fault check Versaflo" the other is "Fault Check Ign Steps". I've disconnected the Versa flo and ensured it's in the "open position to ensure flow but no luck. There is no attempt from the heater to even start the ignition steps so I'm at a loss. I've tested the resistance of the ignitor and it's close to 40 so that's not the issue. Also I'm using the 485 connector from the heater to the Aqualink. My gut tells me it's a configuration issue or bad/dumb luck where my heater died and the automation install is just a timing coincidence.
I appreciate any wisdom from you all on the heater and if you have any thoughts or experince on how to set the actuator to allow it for variable levels from x% to 100% that is an added bonus.
Many thanks!!!
