I have an old Jandy Aqualink RS Automation system. I can program an on and off time for each piece of equipment and it works flawlessly. I can not figure out how to turn and leave my pump on 24/7. Program it to start and stop at the same time?? Just curious if anyone knew from experience!

No it shuts down for five minutes. There are a few other threads that discuss this. The Jandy software apparently just does not support 24x7 operation. Iirc, one thread I saw long ago described a trick using solar heater settings. But I can't find it now. And if you don't have a solar heater, it won't work. Another thread described a discussion with a tech who said a new feature was in development that would interpret a 1-minute shutdown as "don't shut down." But no one has reported this ever became a real thing.

I have mine set with the 5-minute shutdown and always wonder whether cycling the valves once per day is wearing them out faster than they would otherwise.

Jandy/Fluidra... 90's tech at its finest.

Well dang. I must have misunderstood the previous posts. Thanks for the clarification.
