New to having a pool so be gentle. No codes are showing, the sensor readout module has connectivity and looks fine like always. Cleaned unit w acid mixture but not really a build up of any magnitude. Unit is just at a year old pool went live early June 2023. All other levels are good, salinity is 3800. How can I tell if it is the cell or the sensor. not showing any codes but do have flow shown on main panel.

If it is showing no errors, then it is working. Do you see tiny bubbles coming out of the return closest to the pump?

You either are not running the pump and SWG% long/high enough, or you have an unseen contaminant that the Chlorine produced is being used up.

Add liquid Chlorine to get up to target level, and use the SWG to maintain the level.

Also, do not clean the cell with the acid mix unless it has calcium deposits on it. Cleaning that way will shorten the cell's life. If you see white toothpaste like deposits on the plates or bars, then use a popsicle stick to remove that.

Try gathering water right from the return jet while the cell shows that it is producing chlorine. You should see a higher FC level if it is working. Make sure you test with a proper kit rather than test strips.

Did you try pushing the Up arrow to increase the production rate? That is the way that you turn it on. It should go up by 5% on each push.

Thank you, great advice. I'm thinking at this point my inexperience may have ruined the device. Just trying to determine if I need whole replacement or just cell as the cell sensor seems to functioning ok and no error codes.
