Hi, I live in the northeast and have had a pool for about 5 years. we also have a separate jacuzzi not connected directly to the pool. In the winter we close and cover the pool but use the jacuzzi all year long. The jacuzzi has a vanishing edge approximately 4 feet wide on a 12 foot diameter jacuzzi. The basin is the same size. In the summer the basin is in use and water Is circulated to keep everything running, however in the winter the service team disconnects the basin to prevent freezing of the pipes. The jacuzzi pump runs off and on all winter (it has a auto non freeze feature). However this means the basin basically sits as a tub of goo and runoff all winter, from snow runoff to overflow from the jacuzzi. I’d like to just add a cover, but no one seems to design one with the arc we need, same for plastic covers. I usually have to go out and pump out the water but not super practical after a few weeks of snow. Our local pool provider suggested some type of specialty build, but I’m hoping I’m not the only person who has this issue. All suggestions welcome (trust me I’ve everything from filling it with tennis balls, to inserting foam). Thanks.
