Jack's Magic copper stain remover, cloudy water?

Hi,

For anyone that has used Jack's magic copper stain remover powder (sulfamic acid).

Did your water get really cloudy? How long for?

Any idea why this is and can I use a floculant or a clarifier to get rid of it?

Reading the information on their website shows you are to filter out the suspended copper. So running the pump 24/7 and cleaning the filters often is required. I would not use any other chemical treatments (beyond what they state in their directions).

The best way to get rid of copper is drain the pool when you have it in solution. Then to never use a product in the future that has copper in it.
