Issues with my Intex Salt Water System

Hello,
My Intex salt water generator keep flashing low salt. I have tested and its in the correct range. We have cleaned with vinegar and it is still flashing. I dont know what else to do. I looked online and you cant find a new one or if so its 4x the cost. I cant do that. If we cant fix it we may have to go to chlorine. UGH. Would we have to drain the pool? I dont even know how to get started with chlorine. Any suggestions would be awesome. I dont have a lot of time before I start losing control of the pool. Thank you!!!

If the SWG is not operating properly, you don't need to drain the pool. The salt will simply remain in there, and some people do that anyways just for the feel. SImply find a place that sells liquid chlorine like Walmart or Home Depot, or use regular laundry bleach, and balance your FC to the current CYA as noted on the FC/CYA Levels for a non-salt pool. Easy transition.
