Issue with Hayward AquaRite SWG generating chlorine with no water flow

I am new to pools and am learning about my Hayward Salt System. I read if in several articles that if your salt cell is positioned horizontally that it should be facing down. I see yours is up. Anyone else find more accurate readings with the cell down facing?
 
Hey RP and welcome!!!

The 'hump down' reccomendation is for those with variable speed pumps running a lower RPM. There may be an air pocket in the cell when the hump is up due to less flow. At high RPM it shouldn't matter either way.
