Hi All , pool is 4 months old and has Hydrazzo finish and notice it’s blotchy in many areas in terms of color and some spots are discolored and rough / is this normal ? Pool builder is claiming water chemistry and it’s a weekly thing to keep PH down and have had issues with calcium flaking , especially when pool temp hits 94 degrees . I want to know if PH is valid for calcium issues but the surface being blotchy is that water chemistry of how it was applied ??

This is a common problem we have noted in Hydrazzo finishes. It is more obvious in darker finishes. Ask your pool builder to show you hydrazzo dark finishes where you will see the issue. Also ask some pool service companies and see their customers' hydrazzo finishes.

Yes, dark palster pools tend to develop mottling. It is not unique to Hydrazoo finish.

Pool builder is claiming water chemistry and it’s a weekly thing to keep PH down and have had issues with calcium flaking , especially when pool temp hits 94 degrees .

Water chemistry has nothing to do with mottling.

What do you mean by "calcium issues".

pH does not but CSI of which pH is a component does.
