Is this algae?

Just wondering if you think this is still algae from the colour? My pool is being abnormally stubborn and the progress in clarity isn’t occurring during my shocks.
It could be, what are your water test results? Would recommend you follow the SLAM process article here:

FC 20
Cya 20
PH 7.0
It’s been looking like this for a few days now while slamming. I tried a higher level slam last night and thought something would change but it hasn’t budged at all. Hence why I suspect it may not be algae. The pool ladder is sitting in there looking nice and white. Stairs are algae free too as you can see from the photo.

The SLAM requires 30ppm CYA. You’ll need to add 10ppm. Your FC is way higher than it should be for a SLAM. Going higher than SLAM level just wastes chlorine to the sun.

When you says “shocks”, what does that mean? What chemicals have you been adding?
