is there a drying time for teflon based thread compound

i am doing some work on my pool and would like to know if there is a drying time for teflon based thread compound ,should i let it sit for a day or two before i bring my water level back up,i am going to be using it on the threads for the jet and the filter.thanks in advance.
p.s.started using the bbb method this year and my pool is crystal clear,just gotta order my test kit now,great site yas have here

Nope.

The threads are tapered, and if they're tight enough, don't actually require any sealant to seal. But they go tegether better with something on them, and certainly come apart better if teflon has been used!
