Is it ok to start SLAM with Cal Hypo?

Hi! We have some algae and lots of recent rains. OK to start the SLAM with cal hypo? Asking because we have quite a bit of this left over from previous pool maintenance co. I can monitor and use liquid 10% following. Trying to use what we have versus the $5 jug liquid gold. I know we cant mix the two at the same time or store near each other. My CH is currently 400.

What is your FC and CYA?

How much cal hypo are you planning to put in the pool?

If your CH level isn't high already, yes, it's ok. You just have to ensure that you don't use so much that it pushes it too high.
