Last weekend I ordered a new pool pump, as mine failed shortly after opening my pool for the season. I check their site as to how long standard delivery is, and it says 2-4 days here - Track Order | In The Swim. Okay, that's fine. I order. Of course I expect they may not work on the weekend, so I should have it by Thursday. On Tuesday I notice they haven't even sent the item yet. I go to check the status and see "Shipping may be delayed 2-3 days due to high demand." Okay, that should have been something that was stated before I placed the order, but tomorrow will be the third business day so I'll wait I guess. Near the end of Wednesday, still no shipment. I contact customer support and they can provide no status as to the shipment time, why it is taking this long, or help expediting the process. Now it's day 5 and still nothing. I've never used InTheSwim before, but they looked like a reputable place. Am I getting scammed? Do I need to just try to get my money back and order from somewhere else? Really not trying to have to re-shock my pool because I've ordered from a bad dealer.
