The general suggestion here is to add FC back after you soak using LC because an SWG is simply too slow. If the FC drop during bathing doesn't go below the minimum then you're probably ok. For a lot of people, they often bath for a longer time (30-45mins) at lower FC and then replenish afterwards.
Up to you. If it's working fine and the water is staying clear and manageable, then you should be good. You will find advice on this forum and others to "shock" a tub once a week as a matter of routine but I don't like advice that's based on the "just do it anyway" theory. I'd rather see some evidence that shocking is necessary before wasting a lot of time and money on it.
