Hi I know the TFT kits does a PH test, but I was wondering if PH meters which are cheap...I see them on amazon for $15. Are you also a good way of checking PH?
There are some poeple who due to color blindness find them useful and necessary. The problem is they require regular calibration. In the long run the answer is no, you probably won't be happy with a $15 pH meter.
TFTestkits.net sells a meter for 15 bucks with a 1 year warranty. Here, TFTestkits.net. I have trouble reading reds sometimes and I bought one last year but I haven't used it yet.
pH meters are like wine...yu can spend 15 bucks or 1500 on them. I've used the one tftestkits sells and it works fine...it comes with two buffers so you can calibrate it. I use it in conjunction with the drop test as I sometimes have difficulty telling the difference in colors using the comparator.
