is 25 CYA too low for salt?

Just tested a few minutes ago and noticed my CYA is only 25. I started with 45-50 earlier in the season.

Water temp: 90 deg.
FC 7
PH 7.5
TA = 110
CH 500
CYA 25
Salt 3400

only thing I did was added 40lbs of salt to bring the pool from 3000ppm to 3400ppm a few days ago.

I thought the only way to drop CYA was from splashing out and me refilling the pool. I was using the garden hose attach leaf catcher for maybe 10 minutes-15 minutes but didn't really notice the water level jump very much. Trying to understand what might have caused it so I can try to prevent it.

The sun during the summer is strong enough that it oxidizes some CYA. I see 10-15 ppm per month during mid-summer.

Most areas see 3-5 ppm CYA loss per month.
