I previously reported iron staining my pool using Morton pellets. I want to start the AA method to hopefully get rid of the stains. They are mainly where i dumped the majority of the pellets, but there is some light staining where i scattered pellets in other areas. My roadblock is lowering the high Chlorine level. It is 11. The SWCG was pumping out more than needed. How do I lower Cl level without doing drain and fill? It's Winter, but here in North Florida we do get a fair amount of sun. Do i just wait for the Cl level to naturally decline?

Yep, just turn off the chlorinator and it should come down on its own in a few days.
 
Don’t forget to use polyquat 60 before letting fc drop below minimum so you don’t risk algae whilst you go through the aa process 🤞
