I am scheduled to begin the pool build in a couple of weeks but have since encountered some issues with potential pool pump location and searching for answers led me to this group. More specifically, I am now being told that the pool pump needs to be installed further away from the pool (towards the front of my house) since the ideal spot is currently occupied by my generator. I am debating between going with pool companies recommendation which places the pump about an additional 30 - 35 feet away OR having my generator uninstalled and relocated towards front of the house. New to all this stuff so doing some reading.
