Hi,

We are in the Southwest and love our pool. Over the years, we have struggled finding folks to maintain/repair issues. I am doing a lot of this myself now and learning a lot. I look forward to all the advice from this community and hope my experiences may be useful to others as well.

You’ll find incredibly knowledgeable and helpful people here. Maintaining your pool is easy if you have the right people providing direction. First order of business: if you haven’t already, get a good test kit. It will be the best investment you make in your pool. Once you get in the habit of testing, and then start to understand the results and what is causing them, you’ll find the maintenance easy. I spend about 10 minutes per week maintaining my pool. I cringe when I hear of people spending hundreds of dollars for that little effort.
