We started swimming in our pool in May. We began getting estimates last summer, finally picked a company from the many in this area. Ground was broken in February with our pool company finishing slightly ahead of their twelve week build estimate. Landscaping is being done this week and next, with old fencing replaced after that. I may be lonely without anyone in my backyard anymore. 
It was been a long process getting here. Even with all the 3D software and blueprints, it’s hard to know what the end result will truly be at the finish. It was so worth it when the heat and humidity arrived just as the pool was ready. We also realized this was better than we imagined.
Our pool company provides weekly pool maintence for the first six weeks and we get an extra week because of a scheduling conflict. Their pool tech is coming next week for ‘pool school’ with us, showing us all the equipment etc. I’ve gotten a lot of info already from the weekly pool guy, so I can ask more in depth questions next week.
