Is it me are the Intex Saltwater System a bit salt sensitive the owner manual says it will work up to 3500 ppm the one I have ECO-5110 will not I keep getting code 92 High salt my My local pool store (Leslie's) said my salt was 3200ppm tried salt test strips it said about 3000ppm after a week I purchased two different salt tester a Hayward that test in ppm and a Hach that test in ppt when I did the test with the Hayward the salt was 3988ppm and the Hach was 3.18ppt and the pool store (Leslie's) they use the ppt tester so after removing and replacing 1400 gallons of water salt went down to 3000ppm on the Hayward tester and 2.60ppt on the Hach now it works no issues for over a month now. Please post if you had similar issues with Intex Saltwater Systems.

The Intex SWG's definitely prefer a lower level of salinity. I had a newer version of the 5110 and my salt had to be below 2800ppm to work correctly. The board in the unit will throw a high salt error when the power drops to the cell. The power drop is caused by the salt level/electrical conductivity in the water. The power supply can't keep up with the cell.
