Hello!
we have a new Intex 26’ x 52” pool and I regret upgrading from our 18’ x 48” which never gave us a problem.
Our first problem was sinking legs, I didn’t put pavers under the legs so In less than 2 weeks I had to drain the pool and put in the pavers. We finished filling the pool again this past Saturday and the kids were in for maybe 1/2 an hour before a storm hit. At 11:30 pm the pool was completely full and we were experiencing a heavy downpour. At 8:30 am I took our dog out to discover the pool 1/2 empty! There was a tear at the bottom seam and the water was flowing out. Luckily, no property was damaged but man how frustrating.
As we only had the pool a month Intex said they will send us a replacement liner because the first one was defective.
I sent everything to Intex by UPS two day and they should receive it tomorrow morning. Has anyone received a replacement liner from Intex? I’m wondering if they will send it out in a timely manner.
I’m also considering just not reinstalling till next spring, I’m so frustrated. Maybe 26 feet is too large and I should buy a smaller liner and remove some beams and legs. I just can’t go through this work and frustration anymore!!!
Thanks in advance for any insight/help/cheerleading!!!
