Intex Rectangular Pool Owners - Corner joints don't lock

Hey all you intex rectangular pool people!
We just set up our 9 X 18 pool, and when we put the corner joints in, they did not lock into place. They just slide back and forth. Is that the way they are supposed to work? Or do we need to fix that. I've searched the web and could not find any answers.
Any help is very appreciated!

Well, I called Intex to ask them, and I got a very confusing answer. However, I think that it's OK for the joints need some give as the pool fills up, and then stay in place once the pool is filled. I hope!

Correct they don't lock but as the pool fills they will allow the walls to slide out and in the end they will be tight.
