I have a 16' Coleman ultra frame pool and today I installed the Intex Deluxe Wall Mounted Skimmer to it. Thankfully, all parts work for the Coleman pool, but unfortunately it doesn't appear to be working. My guess is because my pool has two inputs and one output. The skimmer is only attached to one of the inputs, so it doesn't have a whole lot of suction power. I am considering buying a second skimmer (only $12.99 at Academy Sports) and using the parts to modify the plumbing a bit on the one I have installed. I need to find a T connector to connect to the bottom of the basket so that I can use two hoses instead of just one. Has anyone done this? I have watched videos of the skimmer in action, and you can see the water flowing over the blue floating ring part, pulling debris inside. Mine doesn't do that until I gently push it just below the surface of the water and drop a blade of grass in....
