I was busy last summer and hired a company to maintain my pool. They kept taking the time clips out the 2 intermatic timers to make the pump run 24/7 to make their job easier. I kept putting them back in then all of a sudden one day they both stoped timing. Is there some trick to disengage the mechanics so the timer does not run? If so how would I get them back working?

I may sound like Captain Obvious, but did you try to push the clock face in? To adjust the clock time, you pull it out and then turn. A spring should push it back into re-engage, but maybe your clock face may be hung up somewhere.
Yea I try pushing it in and spinning it while doing so and it does not seem to engage the gears
