Here is picture of my setup. I'm trying to automate the flow to the deck sprayers (the (3) 1" pipes) My plan was to install an intellivalve and connect that to an open relay on the Intelliconnect already installed. In theory, this would allow the customer to activate the deck sprayers from their phone. The connector from the intellivalve is designed for intellitouch only. I basically just need an on off switch for the valve going to the deck sprayers. Any advice?

Welcome to TFP.

Does the Intellivalve use 120v or 24v? I'm pretty sure it's 24v The relay on the Intelliconnect can only output 120 or 240 depending on how it's powered. I think you could make it work by using a transformer.

Hopefully someone who knows way more about the electric on the Intellivalve will be along with more info or suggestions.

SP,

The IntelliConnect relays will output whatever voltage you put in..

To control an automated valve you need a Single Pole, Double Throw relay.. SPDT. That is not the type of relay the IntelliConnect has..

Here is a crude diagram of a circuit that will work for you.

The relay in your IntelliConnect would control the SPDT relay in the diagram marked "Aux Circuit Port".

Thanks,
