I have a feature pump (bubbler) where the display goes off in servce mode and I can't control it thru the app anymore (turn it on or off). I can turn on the bubbler pump at the
EasyTouch® 8 and 4 Pool and Spa Control System panel by pressing the bubbler feature button on the panel. When I do that, the bubbler pump display panel comes on in automation mode. Only way to turn it off is by depressing the bubbler feature button on the panel.

yes, the feature pump has an RS-485 cable going back to the EasyTouch control panel. It is in parallel with the filter pump RS-485 cable.

yes, I have been adjusting the rpms on the feature pump and the filter pump thru the app. No changes to pump types that I knowing did - don't see that on the app

thanks

M,

I suspect that you have lost your RS-485 control for that pump..

Things to check using the little LCD on the EasyTouch panel.

1. Makes sure the pump type is set to VSF
2. Make sure there is an actual pump speed assigned to that pump for your bubbler circuit. Since you have two pumps, you have two different pages for pump speeds.. One for your main pump and one for your 2nd pump.
3. Makes sure you check #1 and #2 even if you think they are ok..
4. While in AUTO, (Not Service mode), Push the aux button for your feature pump and then go look at the pump's display and see if it says "Display Not Active"...

Please let me know what you find..

Normally, VS pump are connected to constant AC power when the control of the pump is an RS-485 cable... This is not your whole problem, but it just adds to the confusion when the pump is controlled by an aux relay.

Thanks,

Jim R.
