My client would like to install the pentair inteliflo3 but keep his current automation system easy touch that used to be compool. If it is compatible please tell me if I need anything else besides a communication cord to make this work. I tried getting him to upgrade to jntellicenter but money is tight. Will I need the add on relay board? Thanks!

You need nothing other than a com cable. I don't think there is a plug, you just need a two wire cable that connects to the EasyTouch's com port on one end and the RS-485 terminal inside the pump's control head.
Set the EasyTouch to "VS" pump.
Was the old pump a VS pump?
No relay is used to power the IntelliFlo.. It gets constant AC power from a Circuit Breaker or from the line side of the Pump/Filter relay.
Are you familiar with how to set up speeds in the EasyTouch?

Old pump was single speed 1hp whisperflo and yes I am familiar with setting the speeds. I’ve done it before with the older intelliflo model. Just wasn’t too sure since the easy touch was discontinued. Thank you!
