Intelliflo Relay Board

I have a intellifloVSF 3hp pump, installed earlier this year. It’s model 011075, no touchscreen and no relay board. I’ve been reading about the relay board. I don’t have automation today, but have a new SWG (Circupool RJ45) and a Polaris booster pump. If I had the relay board, could I power the swg and booster pump from the relay board? Would they then only turn on when the pump was on? Could I control the time programming of the booster pump with the pentair app? Could I manually turn on the booster pump with the app?

Today the swg, booster pump and heater are powered through a Intermatic P1353 digital timer box, but only the booster is on the timer. I’ve been disappointed with the Intermatic digital timer, as the clock loses the time every time the power is off. I’ve been happy with the Pentair app for programming the pump.

Yes to all your questions.

You will need to move the wiring for the booster pump and SWG that runs through the timer down to your pump.

I’m not sure I understand how the wiring works. For example, the swg is wired as 240. It would be wired to the left side relay. Which screws would I use for the wiring for the swg? Where does the ground for the swg go? To the pump ground screw?IMG_1778.jpeg

I just got the IF3 installed as well, but without the relay board as the tech didn't understand the point or need.

Anyways, I ordered the board online and once the weather is a bit nicer I plan to hook up similar items as you plan to. SWG and Pressure side pump

Currently all 3 devices are on the same breaker(30A), so do I need to run power lines to the pump for the SWG and pump or can I just jump from the current power going to the pump to the relay Supply L1/L2 with short wires?

You can jumper power from the pump screws to the relay Supply screws.

Thanks for asking. That was my next question too
