intelliflo clock resets when power is out

Have a Intelliflo VSP who has that ridiculous clock reset when power out issue. I'm looking to find the part to fix/replace it but apparently have 2 options. Do I replace the Drive itself? (Believe part is 356880z), or the keypad assembly (believe its 357527Z). Dunno where this failed capacitor is located and would not want to duplicate parts.
I know this is an old thread but was there ever an answer to this? I'm having the same problem where my time will reset on every power outage which means that schedules are all messed up because of it.

Thanks for the help

What model number IntelliFlo pump do you have?

The answer to this is replacing the drive which is not cost effective.

Thanks for the reply. It's the 011018 Intelliflo Variable Speed, and it's definitely out of warranty and way too much to replace the drive.

I would think that if it really is a capacitor like I've read that the capacitor should be able to be replaced, however it doesn't seem like I can find anyone who has done it. Pump works great. Schedules no so much when the power flickers.

People have tried and found it is potted under a lot of epoxy and impossible to get at to replace.

That seems awfully pricey to get the clock correct. I'm going to see if I can cobble together the nodejs-poolcontroller on a raspberry pi and see how that works.
It is less expensive then a new drive or pump.

Nodejs should work if you have the technical chops to set it up.
