Does anyone know if it is possible to take my IC-40 salt cell to a place to be tested? A friend told me that Leslie's Pool Supply tested them so I took it in but turns out they only test Hayward salt cells. Thank you!

Sorry, but I know of no place that tests the Pentair cells...
About 80% of the time when the cell is blamed for not working it is something else.
Tell us why you think the cell is bad..
Do you problems with the lights or chlorine production??
Tell us more... how big is your pool? How long do you run the cell? What % of output do you use? Is your water clear, cloudy, or green?

When is the last time you cleaned it? I believe the recommended cleaning is @ once per year. Mine is 3 years old and works great based on that schedule. Good luck!
Many ways to check it.
One is to take it off to check if it needs cleaning. Clean with water/acid if necessary. Rinse it out and replace the "cleaning cap". Pour fresh pool water into the cell. Re-plug it into the power source and and hold the flow switch on with your finger. Run it for a few minutes. You'll probably see little bubbles. Test the water in the cell for FC and compare that to the FC reading from the pool. Hopefully it will be higher. 30 min. start to finish and you'll know.
