Intellichlor IC-40 Flashing "Cell" light Due to Copper in Water?

The best way to maintain your water for a SWCG is by managing the CSI(Calcite Saturation Index). It is calculated by PoolMath.

Keep your CSI between -0.3 and 0 and your SWCG will rarely ever get any calcium scale build up. It will also reduce your water line scale buildup.

There is a PoolMath app - Pool Math, or you can use the web based version. The link is at the top of this page.

You should nail down if you have copper in your water. You should consider getting rid of that soon. If it stains your plaster, it can be very difficult to remove.

Mixed results on removing copper from water. The most assured way is new water without copper.
