Hello All, Do you know if you can use the Pentair IntelliChem controller for just monitoring your pool levels, but not hooked up to external pumps for adding chems? I am ok with adding chems myself, just looking for a lazy way to know my levels. Not quite sold yet on adding the Acid and Chlorine tanks to my pool. Don't really have the space and not sure if I really need it. Thanks in advance.

The Intellichem is way more expensive than a TF-100 kit. Once you get to know your pool you will be testing twice a week at the most.

We do not recommend using the IntelliChem, because the probes often go bad, need to be calibrated or provide bad inputs.. If the IntelliChem worked, we would be the first to recommend using it.

Good to know, thanks. Any other product/brand you would recommend that will work with Pentair automation system?
The issues Jim mention are not exclusive to IntelliChem. They are universal to any pool monitoring systems.
