Intellicenter won't read USB drive

I have a new Intellicenter unit currently on firmware version 1.040 which i need to get updated to 1.047.

I have read the instructions as well as watching the youtube videos on this and it seems very straightforward, use a FAT32 formatted USB key to move the update-ocp-1-047.pfw file from my PC to the device.

Problem is that I have tried 4 different USB keys and the controller is not recognizing any of them.

Is there a special key needed for this? Size restriction under a certain capacity? something I am missing somewhere?

I have had issues with it as well. I usually reformat the usb drive for FAT32 to make sure it is clean and it works.

Hi! I am having the same issue of it not recognizing my usb stick even though it is formatted for FAT32, so am wondering if you had success.

Turns out the device was very particular on the USB, reformatted a different one and it worked

Try a fresh format of the drive

For me it was the USB drive itself, try using one with a low storage capacity and fresh format.

Turns out these controllers are very picky
