IntelliCenter security best practices

My pool is I'm a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I do not have major concerns, but I am still wondering what best practices are for IntelliCenter security. Should I set a passcode? Put a small padlock on the panel? Even though the likelihood is low, the last thing I want is someone coming to my panel and messing with things or even locking me out. However, I do want to keep it easy for my pool guy when they open and close the pool.

Thoughts? Experiences? (I can find nothing on this topic searching on TFP.)

Depends how many enemies you have.

Should I set a passcode?

Good idea.

Put a small padlock on the panel?

Don't lose the key.

Someone has to have weird motivations to target your pool panel versus other things around your house.

I can factory reset it and rebuild my IntelliCenter in about an hour.

However, I do want to keep it easy for my pool guy when they open and close the pool.

Are you there when your pool is opened or closed?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Does the passcode prevent them from doing anything?
You can have an Administrator passcode and Guest passcodes that allow acccess to specific sections.

Setup a Guest User for your Pool Service and give them the passcode and restrict them to the sections they need.
