IntelliCenter remote- connected but not functional

Intellicenter remote- I have a remote that came with my system. It has never worked. It was finally cool enough and I now have it connected.

The problem is I cannot make any changes with the remote. Such as turn on or off spa, pool, heater, etc.

I unconnected and reconnected it from the network. We usually just use or phones but it would be nice for the remote to do what it is supposed to do since we paid for it.

Anyone have any tips on making this work properly?

Make sure you have upgraded your IntelliCenter firmware. 1.047 is the current version and there were issues with previous versions. The yellow indicator will turn green when it is ready to communicate. Also reboot it by putting it in the cradle and press the button on the side.
