have had some power surges and faulty wire with our entire electrical to the home. This has been repaired, but now my intellicenter will not communicate with my pump, and thus the heater.( it does communicate with valves and lights) and it all the set up seems to be still in place. I understand the pump must be working for the heater to work. Confirmed that pump is all functional and operates fine when intellicenter is in service mode and I can operate the pump manually from the pump display. The pump works. electrician was able to do " ..........." with a relay and able to demonstrate the heater does start and work. Why wont my intellicenter communicate with my pump and thus my heater? Was there a recent software update that has caused this break in communication. by the way, could someone tell Pentair to give us heads up or even the option to accept or decline an update. getting tired of updates that cause my "tweeks" in my system to be different. ugh.

Is your pump displaying the "display not active" message? Is your heater setup on RS-485 or on the firemans switch? Is your remote connection to the pool working? What firmware version are you running? AFAIK Pentair shutoff auto updates prior to the current 3.02 version. After 3.02 and installing the newest version of the Pentair pool app you are opted in to auto updates but can opt out.
