IntelliCenter no WiFi connect

I’ve replaced an Intermatic 2 timer panel with a Pentair i8 system including latest High power link system wired correctly. Transceivers certainly have matched ID# and their leds imply activity at both ends. The Intella system even indicates I’m connected the internet with an IP number.
I can not connect Intella to WiFi even though my phone can see WiFi at same location ?
Also the app doesn’t even recognize Local System ?
I’ve tried moving Ethernet end to a couple of locations to no avail / less than 200ft , clear shot without “faraday cage” stucco in the way.
What to do next ?

I’ve discovered that I can connect locally via displayed IP 10.10.1.87
Still can’t “discover local networks” at controller? To enable account set up.
There are 3 WiFi networks visible via iOS devices at pool shed but Intella sees none ?

What is the IP address of the router?

What is the IP range of your DNS pool?

I discovered that on iPhone IntellaCenter app setting "allow to connect to local networks" needed to be checked (selected)



still can not connect to local wifi ... only connectivity is accomplished by manually entering IP in alternate "Connect Locally" menu

The space is also a special character.

Try using Barn or setup an SSID with only letter, no spaces or characters.

I took spaces out of TJHouse ...
the problem is no WiFi shows up , it simply shows spinning search emoji endlessly.

Are they 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz?

Can you setup a SSID locked into 2.4Ghz?

Did you try boosting the antenna power on the Intellicenter?

Adjusting the Antenna Power
This feature to adjust the antenna signal
power should only be used when the
connection is unstable or your home network
name is not displayed in the available list.
1. From the Home screen, tap Settings
> Advanced System Configuration >
Network and WiFi Setup.
2. Tap Adjust Wireless Transmit Power
and choose a transmit power, and tap
the Checkmark.
3. Once the antenna has rebooted it will transmit using increased the power.
4. Repeat Step 1-16 (see front page) as required to obtain a connection.

SOLUTION
It turns out all I had to do is ignore "unable to connect to WiFi Device" dialog and go ahead and enter all account info. The spinning emoji stopped turning on invoking "create new account" for a considerable period , maybe over a minute. System rebooted ... and Pentair icon showed up in upper right hand corner of screen.

Some of Pentair's UI can be maddening.
