Installing Wireless and Wired Remote for Omnilogic

Hi, I have a wireless remote (HLWIRELESS). that is configured for the network but it is unable to find the Omnilogic configuration. The Omnilogic controller shows an entry for HLWIRELESS version 3.20 under System. Does HLWIRELESS need to be upgraded to a more recent version? I see files on the Hayward site for "WDT Unified Omnilogic Remote" version 5.0 but I am not sure if that is what I need to be able to have the wireless remote communicate with the controller.

A second issue that may be related is that I installed a wired remote HLWALLMOUNT and that also reads on the display screen "no configuration". It appears to be a similar issue. In that case I do not see an entry on the System screen of the Omnilogic controller that reads "HLWALLMOUNT" so that could be the issue I suppose. Again, would installing the "WDT Unified Omnilogic Remote" version 5.0 firmware solve that problem?

No, not a new installation. I’ve been using Omnilogic for about 3 summers now. The HLWIRELESS did work in the beginning and then one day it stopped working. I did an update last summer that was required. But the wireless remote stopped working before I did the update so I don’t think that caused the issue.

Then recently I decided to have my pool company install the HLWALLMOUNT. I noticed that that also had a problem finding the system configuration of the Omnilogic controller. Please see photo of what omnilogic controller shows as system configuration and for what the wall
mounted remote is showing. Thanks for your help.

I have used the wall mount before it’s really simple. As for the Wi-Fi controller I’m not sure. The wall mount should be wired to to the same connector as your pump and have an HUA or show up in your system info. If it doesn’t then it’s not wired correctly.
