Just wanted to share my experience with the Borderlines product. Not sure how this would have turned out if I didn't have my wife helping hold the far corners of the sticker while I line up the start end. We use their install Kit that included a cleaner and an adhesive enhancer. Followed the directions and watched a few videos. It was much easier to install in the shallow end and lined up much better. In the deep end I worked from above laying on the down and wife was in the water with a noodle. Much harder to get perfect. Don't expect perfection. There's a few bubbles and creases here and there. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the job. At a distance it looks great! Time will tell if it sticks and stays looking good. I'll update in a year or so if I can remember. See attached pics of before and after.

That looks very nice. :goodjob: What also caught my eye was that really nice Texas themed fencing you have there. I really like that. And what's the story behind the paddle boat decor in the background? Wishful thinking reminder of being at the lake or coast?

The old boat in the background was actually built by my Dad who passed away last year. It's a nice reminder of him. I wish I was into sailing and could have kept it in good shape. He lived with us in his final years and loved to talk about it while looking at it from our porch.

Here's a pic of the Border less then a year old. We ended up peeling it all back off. Seems like it happened mostly where the afternoon and evening sun hit. Will not recommend.

Thanks for the update (y)

(And sorry it wasn't ideal)

When looking at the border options for the first pool, nothing grabbed us. IMO liner borders came about to spruce up the old windex blue pools in the 70s/80s, trying too hard to make them look like their fancier cousin plaster pools with tile borders.

We went borderless for both pools. Consider it when it's time to replace this liner, but obligatory best wishes that its many years from now. :)

Plus, picking out a liner pattern that we both liked was miserable enough. Having to decide on THAT, *plus* stars / seashells/ fish / Aztec designs / etc would have been even worse. :ROFLMAO:
